To apply for the SEBI Grade A Law Officer Recruitment 2024, simply follow these steps:

SEBI Legal Phase 1 Exam Pattern 

SEBI Grade A Phase 1 for Legal consists of an objective online examination as per the previous year’s notification. The exam pattern for 2024 is expected to be released in the detailed notification. The online exam has two papers of 100 marks each. Paper 1 comprises multiple choice questions on subjects like General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Test of Reasoning. Paper 2 consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the specialized subject. i.e., Legal in this case.

SEBI Legal Phase 2 Exam Pattern 

SEBI Grade A pattern for Legal Phase 2 also consists of two papers carrying 100 marks each. Paper 1 is Descriptive English. Paper 2 consists of 70 multiple-choice questions and 3 descriptive-type questions based on the specialized stream, i.e., Legal. Like Phase 1, there are negative markings of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer.

Interview 

After qualifying for the SEBI Grade A Phase 2 exam, candidates will be called for the third and final stage of the recruitment process which is the Interview. Candidates can choose either Hindi or English as the medium of language for the Interview. The SEBI Legal interview is held for 11.25 marks. 25 % weightage of marks will also be given to post qualification, whereas the rest of the Interview will be given a weightage of 75 %. Overall, the SEBI Officer Grade A Phase 2 exam carries 85%, while marks obtained in the Interview shall be given a weightage of 15%.
