About ICFAI Law School
ICFAI Law School, a part of IFHE and approved by the Bar Council of India, offers a range of legal education programs. These include integrated five-year courses in BBA.LLB (Hons) and BA.LLB (Hons), one-year LLM programs in Corporate and Commercial Laws and Tax Laws, and two-year LLM programs in Insolvency & Bankruptcy Law and Criminal Law.
They also provide full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs and offer fifteen certificate courses in various specialized areas of law. Centre for Gender Studies
The center aims to foster research and academic discussions pertaining to gender stereotypes and discrimination. It is committed to raising awareness and improving access to justice in the context of gender related issues. The establishment of the Center for Gender Studies is crucial for gender sensitization in our college and through the college, to us.
The Center aims to engage with both faculty and students, striving to create a gender-aware community on campus and beyond. The Center envisions to arrange diverse academic, technical, medical, cultural, and social events to empower vulnerable groups and promote gender equality in society.
While promoting academic research in the area of gender studies by undertaking research projects, the Center aims to collaborate with national and international organizations and researchers in the field of gender studies and related.
The New Chapter
The centre for gender studies runs on the backbone of passionate voices of ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad aiming to promote gender equality and diversity by facilitating research and providing opportunities for law students to raise their voices and voice their opinions on this sensitive subject.
Public interest litigation (PIL) is one of the most indispensable parts of our legal system. This competition aims at giving the budding minds of the legal fraternity an opportunity to understand the practical dynamics of PIL.
We bring forth Socius Actucs Litgare- Public Interest litigation in hopes to promote the object that was set forth by the centre for gender studies under the guidance of our director Prof. A V Narsimha Rao.
Eligibility
- Participation is strictly restricted to bona fide law students enrolled in the three-year or five-year LL.B. degree course in any institution in India. Students pursuing their LL.M. and Diploma courses are not eligible for participation.
- Only one team shall be allowed to represent each participating university
- Each Participating team should have two members, they shall be designated as ‘Speaker-1’ and ‘Speaker-2’

All the participating institutions have to confirm participation by filling out the registration form via the registration link, on or before 25th February 2024, 11:59 PM provided at the end of this post.
