Lawctopus Law School is hiring Teaching Assistants for a project that will last from April 21 to July 30, 2024.
This is a fully remote position!
Eligibility
- Scholars pursuing their LLM or PhD program are welcome to apply provided they have no time-consuming commitments during this time period
- Candidates preparing for Judiciary/UPSC examinations
- Law graduates who are relatively free in this time period
- Law professors who can dedicate focussed time to this project
- Fifth-year students who are highly proficient in one of these domains: legal research/mooting; civil or criminal litigation; corporate law/contract drafting
Roles and Responsibilities
- Hosting and facilitating sessions on Zoom
- Communicating with learners over email, WhatsApp and phone
- Managing the LMS (Learning Management System): uploading videos, editing, formatting, proofreading course description
- Support in evaluating assignments based on rigorous guidelines
- Research, writing, editing, and proofreading tasks
- Other tasks related to facilitating e-learning
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in one of the following: Mooting/Publications OR Corporate Law/Contract Drafting OR Litigation and Drafting (Practical Internship/Work Experience)
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent research, writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading skills
- Strong interest and competence in hosting/facilitating engaging online sessions
- Good presentation/speaking skills
Time Commitment
- Half-time role: 4.5 hours/day, 6 days a week
- Full-time role: 8 hours/day, 6 days a week
Remuneration
- Half-time role: Rs. 15,000-20,000/month
- Full-time role: Rs. 30,000-40,000/month
